What is EndyMed ?

FDA-approved EndyMed uses its 3DEEP technology in order to deliver its high-quality skin treatment (cellulite, skin tightening) while minimising discomfort and any skin-related side-effects. What makes this technology unique is that it uses a multi-polar system to deliver radiofrequency (RF) waves into the skin. This system allows RF waves to travel to the deepest layers of the skin while sparing the more delicate superficial layers, and also focuses the RF waves more precisely to the treatment area, which protects the surrounding tissues. Other devices use mono- or bi-polar systems, which are less targeted and can thus affect the tissues surrounding the treatment area. These systems also increase the possibility of damaging the superficial layers of the skin by allowing RF waves to travel throughout them. This can cause discomfort to the patient and requires cooling systems and gels in order to try and prevent potential damage. You do not need to worry about this when undergoing EndyMed treatments and can therefore expect a safe, comfortable experience leading to great results.

What does EndyMed 3deep technology consist of?

EndyMed’s 3DEEP technology is not only comfortable and safe. It is also effective. RF waves delivered by the 3DEEP technology can help improve your skin’s appearance by stimulating collagen production within the skin’s deepest layer, the dermis. Collagen – which is the most abundant protein in the human body – is important in maintaining the skin’s youthful appearance, as it provides tissues with firmness and elasticity. When they penetrate into the dermis, the RF waves heat up the various tissues found within it. The heat the waves emit will first cause collagen fibers to shorten, which will help tighten the skin. Later on, collagen-producing cells in the dermis will also be stimulated to produce new collagen fibers, increasing the collagen content of the dermis. This provides your skin with a firmer appearance, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. What can I expect during the procedure?

When you arrive to the office on the day of your EndyMed treatment, you will first have some anesthetic cream applied to the targeted areas in order to reduce discomfort during the treatment. The technician will then place the EndyMed handpiece directly on the treatment areas. The entire session will last between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Following the session, the technician may apply some soothing cream on the areas that were treated. You will not require any significant downtime after the treatment session, which makes EndyMed ideal for those with a busy schedule. You will be able to continue your regular skin routine as early as the next day. Some simple recovery measure you will need to take while your skin is healing is sleeping on your back, avoiding sports, and not undergoing any other procedures in or around the treatment areas. You will be able to see results immediately after this first session, and your skin’s appearance will continue to improve as collagen production increases. For full results, you will need to undergo between 6 sessions at 1-2-week intervals. The effects of the treatment are cumulative, and your skin’s appearance will improve with every session.

How long will results last?

The results of skin tightening / cellulite after EndyMed treatments are long-lasting. However, you skin will continue to age normally after completing your treatments. It is possible you will need touch-up sessions in order to maintain your skin’s appearance. A good skincare routine including the use of moisturisers and sunscreen, as well as staying hydrated and eating a healthy diet, can help with maintaining the skin’s younger look.

Does EndyMed cause any side effects?

EndyMed treatments are not a high-risk procedure, however you may still experience some mild side effects. These include redness and swelling of the skin, which is a normal response to the heat of the RF waves. These effects should subside within a few hours to a day following the procedure. There is no risk of hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation following treatment. EndyMed is safe for all skin tones, and individuals with darker skin are not at increased risk for adverse effects. Is EndyMed for everyone?
